Live Action Kimi Ni Todoke is Green Lit!

The February issue of Shueisha’s Bessatsu Margaret Magazine and Rakuten online shop have announced that a live action adaptation of Kimi Ni Todoke has been green lit for production. As of yet there is no word on a production schedule or casting but even soo, I’m excited!

Most live action adaptations of anime suck,(I’m looking at you Blood the Last Vampire) and that’s mostly because of cheesy special effects and attempts to over exaggerate things. It works for anime but sucks in live action. I’m keeping my hopes up on this one!
