Seriously, Hide Your doujinshi and H-Manga!

This is a little old but still worth repeating, Manga collector sentenced to six months in jail for his doujinshi collection.

On Tuesday February 11th, 2010 Christopher Handley was sentenced to six months in prison for pleading guilty on the charges of possessing “obscene visual representations of the sexual abuse of children.” Followed by another five years of probation and a $200 fine. Fortunately he doesn’t have to register as a sex offender but he will have to submit his DNA to the government. Oh, and he will have to live the rest of his life with a sex crime on his record.

I don’t condone child pron in any way but arresting a guy for his comic book collection seems a bit much. So be safe out there fellow Otaku and get rid of your doujinshi and H-manga, and just to be sure go ahead and burn any Renaissance art you may have. Those cherubs look an awful lot like children…
